Kids Day was an official day, proclaimed by Mayor Marsha McLean. It was put on in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club. It was a free event, with carnival rides, hot dogs, face painting and all sorts of other fun stuff for adults and kids to share in.      

The River Rally cleanup is a tradition in Santa Clarita. It involved hundreds of volunteers showing up to help clean up a portion of the Santa Clara riverbed.  This year it was a section of the river in Canyon Country.
