On this episode of Politics & The Pulpit, our host Pastor Jerry Cook of Freedom’s Way Baptist Church talks with guest Samuel Green, the founder of Reason For Life on abortion and the upcoming elections which will have long lasting impacts on it.

Samuel started Reason For Life after doing pro life litigation and felt that a cultural transformation was necessary to “protect the sanctity of life”. With proposition 1 on the ballot in California, abortion will be voted on and could completely change the way the state permits it. Pastor Cook asks Samuel why many other pastors and ministries have failed to voice these issues.

“I think there is a great reluctance on the part of pastors to be perceived as political,” Samuel said. “Id like to remind pastors that their responsibility to preach the truth of the bible does not end if a subject of biblical truth ends up in the political arena.”
