Michelle Barritt, Chief Philanthropy Officer — July 15, 2020

On this episode of the Providence Holy Cross Health Hour with Tom Burton, PT, Tom talks to Michelle Barritt, Chief Philanthropy Officer of Providence Holy Cross Health systems. Tom starts the show talking about the significant resurgence of Coronavirus cases across the United States and the varying levels of responses to the resurgence. Tom talks about how medical professionals are desperately asking people to take this seriously, and how a lack of seriousness from people aged 18 to 60 years-old are showing a severe lack of care for the spread of Covid-19. Tom reminds people that the mask protects of people from yourself, as opposed to the other way around. Tom also reminds people of the basic ways we can help stop the spread of Covid-19 and how we can keep ourselves healthier in general.

Later in the show, Tom talks to Michelle Barritt, Chief Philanthropy Officer of Providence Holy Cross Health systems. Michelle talks about her role at Providence Holy Cross and what she contributes to the team at Providence. Michelle helps connect donors with the types of products that they can donate to help Providence Holy Cross fight Covid-19 and help those impacted by Covid-19. Michelle connects donors with the goods that most help Providence and the people impacted by Covid-19 so these large donations can be properly utilized. Michelle assures that large donations don’t get misused, mishandled, or go into savings accounts, and she helps get people the things they need most. During this challenging time, medical professionals and staff have been working tirelessly to help keep all of us safe, and Michelle is so happy she can help these people get the care and rewards they deserve. No matter the donation size or type, Michelle and Providence Holy Cross love the support and care and are happy to pass that support and love forward. Listen to Michelle’s full interview in the second half of the podcast to hear more about what she does at Providence and how she contributes to the incredible team effort that helps take care of the staff and patients at Providence Holy Cross health systems.
