Real Estate & Other Stuff – Money-Saving Tips for Upcoming Recession And Real Estate News – November 18, 2022
Today on Real Estate & Other Stuff, Phil and Taylor discuss a variety of topics including some money-saving tips to help everyone through this recession and the latest news on real estate.
As Thanksgiving is approaching, Taylor and Phil opens the show by discussing the possible upcoming changes the recession will have on the housing market in Santa Clarita Valley. Phil discusses even though the recession isn’t beneficial for workers on a fixed income, all the inflation should go back down. Taylor continues onto the topic of the money saving tips to help you survive the upcoming recession such as resisting the urge to have impulsive purchases and buying only what you need. At one point, they mention how it may not be a bright idea to buy fancy looking things, however Phil says in the Real Estate business, it’s important to have a very professional and up-to-date look including a nice-looking car instead of an old, used one when visiting clients.
Later on, Phil and Taylor discuss how the buyers weren’t made aware of how the house’s well tested poorly and had to replace it. The realtor selling the house was aware of the information but didn’t disclose it with the buyers. Phil brings up a question of why didn’t the inspector say something during the inspection? Taylor mentions it’s one of the reasons why the inspectors are usually a defendant in these cases. Eventually the agent and the buyer would come to a conclusion since the buyer wants the house while the agents wants to sell.
