Today on Real Estate & Other Stuff, Phil and Taylor return to the studio to discuss a variety of topics including ‘Zillow Gone Wild’, agent social media posts that have gone sideways, and so much more.
Phil opens by congratulating Taylor on the birth of her twin daughters and also the announcement that he has listed his home on the market. Phil says he has a newfound appreciation for the amount of time and preparation that he advises to his clients after going through much of the same process himself.
Later, Phil and Taylor discuss Zillow Gone Wild, an Instagram and social media following that props up some of the more “eccentric” homes listed on Zillow. However, contrary to many agents fears of their clients homes being ridiculed for being featured on the account, these unconventional homes have actually garnered more attention than initially believed.
“It’s houses on Zillow that are just wild, for whatever reason,” Taylor said. “Here’s my thought though- any exposure is good exposure. You’re going to find some interesting, eclectic human (that will be interested in the home)”
