Doug and John open the show discussing the 2016 Presidential Election and stories revolving around it, including emails sent to potential donors from Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The guys also dissect pressing issues around the Santa Clarita Valley, like the latest Santa Clarita City Council meeting regarding the construction of the Laemmle Theater in Downtown Newhall.
Doug and John are joined by Mike van der Goes, the General Manager and Director of Golf at the Tournament Players Club. Mr. van der Goes shares stories and gives his opinion of his former boss and current presidential candidate, Donald J. Trump. Mr. van der Goes was awarded Top 100 Golf Shop Award Winner in 2007 & 2008 and received the Golf Professional of the Year Nomination (Metro Chapter) in 2011 & 2012.
