Senior Hour – Preserved Memories Alzheimers Art Exhibit And Adam Laraway From Focus Physical Therapy – December 7, 2022

On this episode of The Senior Hour, Dr. Thomas Polucki welcomes in Aazam Irilian to discuss the  upcoming Preserved Memories Art Exhibit at the Main in Newhall and Adam Laraway from Focus Physical Therapy.

Dr. Poluck opens the show with Aazam, who discusses her passion and motivation for creating the Preserved Memories exhibit that is set to debut at The Main in Newhall Thursday December 15. Aazam’s experience with Alzheimers touched her first hand when her husband was diagnosed with it. Aazam decided to speak with other family members and patients who have suffered through Alzheimers to get a better understanding of what they are going through and who they were prior to the disease. Aazam advocates for caregivers of family members suffering from Alzheimers to be open and honest about their family members and to take advantage of the resources available such as the Alzheimers support hot line. To learn more about the Preserved Memories exhibit, visit their website.

Adam Laraway checks in later on and discusses The NEUBIEand the benefits it has provided the patients he treats for chronic pain of functional issues. NEUBIE is a pulse direct electric current treatment that gets to the source of your pain or discomfort faster. The nervous system controls every muscle movement, so if a movement dysfunction is contributing to your pain, keeping you injured, limiting your mobility, or robbing you of performance, then the NEUBIE may be able to help you.
