Senior Hour – Ulrich Lifestyle Structures And Focus Physical Therapy For Seniors  – October 5, 2022

On this episode of The Senior Hour, Barbara and Dr. Dorio welcome George Brown from Ulrich Lifestyle Structures and  Adam Laraway from Focus Physical Therapy.

Barbara and Dr. Dorio discuss the potential benefits of having an on-property separate living quarter for seniors so that families may ensure their safety but also maintain proper separation and independence as desired. However, due to laws and regulations, it does come with its share of hurdles in order to have an adequate living space for seniors.

“Anything that is over 100 square feet under California code requires a permit. We’re able to assist with the permitting process and producing plans to submit to the city,” George said in reference to Ulrich Lifestyle Structures ability to help facilitate this process for seniors and their families.

Later, Barbara and Dr. Dorio welcome in Adam Laraway to discuss the benefits of seniors being proactive in their physical health. As Barbara just experience with her recent trip to the hospital, creating a foundation can expedite the recovery process much more efficiently.

Listen to the entire episode here as Barbara and Dr. Dorio discuss on-property living options for seniors and ways to maintain health through physical therapy!
