Suicide Awareness/Grieving as a Mother — March 20, 2019

Sharon Brubaker is back after taking a short break to kickoff her book tour, podcast and other new works she has been focused on providing to the people she helps and the people that are still looking for it. On this episode of The Grief Recovery Hour with Sharon Brubaker, Shellee Zenteno joins the show to talk about suicide awareness, and how to overcome the experience through grief recovery. Shellee came home one day to find her husband had taken his own life. She and her family have been through a lot since then, and Shellee talks about how she dealt with the tremendous grief she experienced and can still experience from time to time. Shellee started by going through therapy to help her through the initial pain, and since then has worked with Sharon to address the grief she has experienced. Shellee also talks about the many friends and people in her life that has helped her move forward and become a stronger person. Sharon asks Shellee about what she has felt and done to help thrive and overcome the grief and the experience she went through.

Listen in as Sharon and Shellee talk about Shellee’s journey through her husband’s death by suicide, and she has overcome the grief she has experience to be a better, stronger person.

More about Sharon Brubaker:

“As soon as I completed The Grief Recovery Method ®, I knew that my lifelong mission would be to learn everything I could about grief, and make it my life’s work to help others heal from their broken hearts.

Sadly, most of the information we are given immediately following a loss from family or friends is incorrect. It does little or nothing to help us feel better or to begin the healing process. So, we continue to search and search.” Read More…
