The Real Estate Fix With Rich Szerman – Carmen and David’s Home Sale – June 9, 2023
On today’s episode of The Real Estate Fix with Rich Szerman, Rich opens up the show by discussing a large snapshot of different mortgage rate predictions by a variety of different research outlets, including but not limited to – Mortgage Bankers Association, Bank of America, Zillow, and the Rinaldi Group. Rich chimes in with his own opinions on the topic as well as which articles he thinks predict the nature of the market accurately and which ones are just wishful thinking
After the first break, Rich welcomes clients Carmen and David, a mother and son duo who reached out to Rich to help with foreclosure assistance and resale renovation. Carmen’s story started out by figuring out she had a zombie second worth 60 – 70K, causing the bank to put her on foreclosure notice. Rich’s group came to be of assistance to Carmen and David, helping them settle their foreclosure as well as sell their property. Rich implemented the resale renovation program and by investing 12k worth of renovation into their approximately $750K property, they were able to sell it for $830K instead.
Lastly, Rich wraps up the show by discussing how they successfully closed escrow and now plan to move to Florida for their new property. They also provide some humorous anecdotes about their dogs and a random potential buyer that came to check the property.
Rich Szerman has been helping clients buy, sell, and protect real estate for over 30 years.
