Balancing Medications and Treatment — January 23, 2019
On this episode of The Senior Hour with Dr. Gene Dorio and Barbara Cochran, Dr. Thomas Polucki, Chiropractor, joins the show to talk about balancing medications and treatment. Dr. Polucki gives advice on how to be aware of the medications you are taking and how they are making you feel to avoid over-medicating instead of using treatment methods that could be more beneficial. Some doctors are more likely to recommend prescription medication instead of treatment that could be more cost effective and easier on the body. Because of this, it is important to pay attention to how your body is feeling so that you know whether or not a medication is actually helping you. Dr. Polucki shares information on how to better pay attention to your body, and be more aware of this balance.
