On this episode of The Senior Hour with Dr. Gene Dorio and Barbara Cochran, Dr. Thomas Polucki returns to continue his talk about neuropathy. Repairing the nerves in the body can a difficult, time-consuming process and some treatments aren’t guaranteed to provide any results. Dr. Polucki shares how the treatments he has been providing to his clients have been helping them dramatically. Barbara shares her own experiences with neuropathy, and shares how she takes gabapentin to help her body feel well enough for her to get some sleep. Dr. Polucki talks about how “red light” technology has helped some of his clients dramatically, and how much it has helped Barbara treat the pain she has been feeling. Dr. Dorio and Dr. Polucki also talk about how important a person’s diet is to improving neuropathy, and how certain diets can reduce inflammation. The various of treatments that are available to seniors can range in expense, and Dr. Polucki and Dr. Dorio talk about how frustrating the current healthcare landscape in the United States is for seniors trying to find treatment for their neuropathy.

Listen in as Barbara Cochran, Dr. Gene Dorio, and Dr. Polucki continue their talk about neuropathy and how seniors can treat it if they are suffering from that pain.
