The Senior Hour – SCV Comfort Keepers– April 19, 2023

On this week’s episode of the Senior Hour, Barbara Cochran welcomes Kevin MacDonald, CEO of the SCV Senior Center, on to the show for its opener and Myles McNamara, owner of Comfort Keepers, for the latter half.

Kevin opens up the show by discussing some exciting events coming up at the Senior Center, such as the highly anticipated “Springtime in Paris” dinner. The event will feature live musicians, an auction with a chance to win a trip to Paris, and, of course, delicious Parisian cuisine provided by the chefs at Bella Vita.

In the second half of the show, Barbara introduces listeners to Myles McNamara, President and Owner of Comfort Keepers, which provide non-medical in-home care for senior citizens. Myles gives insight on the multitude of services they offer. He also stresses the importance of adult children of seniors to plan the services their parents will receive, sooner rather than later. Listeners should follow the “Platinum rule”, that is – treat others the way they want to be treated.

Listen in as Kevin, Barbara, and Myles go into depth on topics such as the SCV Senior Center’s fun lineup of events and the impact Comfort Keepers has on its clients.
