The Senior Hour – The Reality Of Caregiving And Natural Remedies With Dr. Polucki – January 25, 2023

On this episode of The Senior Hour, hosts Barbara Cochran and Dr. Thomas Polucki welcome in special guest Dave Nassani who shares his story about caregiving for his wife and the chronic pain that resulted from it.

Dave mentions that providing care for his wife who suffered from a stroke ultimately took a toll on his body, making it difficult to even stand for extended periods of time. The pain was becoming unbearable and so Dave decided to visit a “functional” medicine doctor that assured Dave he could provide a solution. After having his neck cracked and being prescribed numerous medicine and dietary changes, Dave found himself in his wife’s wheelchair, unable to walk or hardly move.

With the idea of surgery now on the table, Dave paid a visit to Dr. Polucki. Dr. Polucki’s non-invasive approach helped to alleviate Dave’s pain, avoiding surgery and allowing him to regain freedom in his life, including traveling and continuing his career. Dave now has a syndicated radio show dedicated to caregivers to share his experience with others who are facing the same situation that he was when his wife fell ill. He also provides retreats for caregivers as a form of a support group that provides them with resources and ideas to better enhance their life.

Listen to the entire show here as Barbara and Dr. Polucki chat with Dave about the benefits Dr. Polucki provides for pain and the reality of being a caregiver!
