It’s almost soup season, when the whole family can dine on a filling and delicious soup to warm their insides. Try Chicken Taco Soup, a hearty mix of ingredients to make for a creamy and rich meal sure to satisfy the whole family. 

In partnership with Just A Pinch, KHTS Radio has provided this week’s recipe below. 

For Chicken Taco Soup, you will need:

• 3 cans of white meat chicken, drained (5 oz each)
• 1 can diced tomatoes (10 oz)
• 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
• 1 can whole kernel corn (15.25 oz)
• 1 can beans (or chili beans, 15.5 oz)
• 1 box chicken broth (32 oz)
• 1 to 2 pkg taco seasoning
• 1 pkg dry ranch dressing mix
• 1 chopped onion
• Few jalapenos
• 1 pkg cream cheese (8 oz)
• Grated cheese 

Directions

Start by mixing together all the ingredients except for the cream cheese. Bring to a boil. 

Reduce the heat and then add cream cheese. 

Top with grated cheese. This can be served with tortilla chips or tortillas as well. 

An alternative way of cooking the soup is also in the Crock Pot, letting the ingredients slowly cook together. 

Now the family can enjoy a comforting soup bursting with flavors.
