Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Invites Community To Tour New Patient Tower

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital invites the community to tour its new patient tower at an open house on Saturday.

On Saturday, October 12, Mayo staff members are scheduled to be on hand to answer questions about the tower and its state-of-the-art features and amenities, said officials.Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Invites Community To Tour New Patient Tower

The new patent tower includes 90 new private patient rooms, two new operating rooms, a new Center for Women and Newborns with all private rooms, a rooftop helipad with direct access to the Emergency Department, and a new café and outdoor dining area, according to Mike Crawford, spokesperson for Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.

The tower is expected to be open for patients later this year, according to hospital officials.

“For nearly 45 years, Henry Mayo has been serving the Santa Clarita Valley,” said Crawford in a press release. “Please join Henry Mayo on October 12 as it celebrates its commitment to improve the health of our community”

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. Light refreshments are expected to be served during the event.

  1. The original tower is reserved for neurology patients (strokes, etc.). What will the focus of the new tower be?
