The Metrolink Antelope Valley Line (AV Line) was delayed by over an hour Friday due to a vehicle stuck on the tracks in Santa Clarita.
About 1 p.m. Friday, Metrolink officials began reporting delays on the AV line due to a vehicle stalled on the tracks near Soledad Canyon Road, causing train 213 to be stopped between Vincent Grade/Acton and Via Princessa rail stations.
AV Line 213 is stopped between Via Princessa & Vincent Grade/Acton due to vehicle stuck on the tracks. At this time, the train is anticipated to go back to Via Princessa. Alternate transportation is being sought at this time, update to follow.

Tracks were eventually cleared, and AV Line 213 travelled on with a delay of about 40 minutes, AV Line 218 to Los Angeles is now operating with a delay of up to 1 hour and 20 minutes and AV Line 222 to Los Angeles is also delayed by 30 minutes, according to Metrolink officials.
No injuries were reported.
