A fire hydrant was sheared following a car crash on Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country, officials said.
Gallons of water poured onto Soledad Canyon Road near Camp Plenty Road following a car hitting a fire hydrant around 5:45 p.m. Friday, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.
“We received reports of a vehicle versus a hydrant,” said Supervisor Melanie Flores, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “There were no injuries reported.”
The water in the road has caused Soledad Canyon Road some traffic. SCV Sheriff’s Station gave a traffic advisory between Whites Canyon and Camp Plenty.
