A 15-year-old was reportedly transported to the hospital after being hit with a vehicle in Newhall Wednesday night.
At around 8 p.m. Wednesday night, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on Sierra Highway and Dockweiler Drive in Newhall, according to officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Upon arrival, responders saw that a 15-year-old who had been riding a scooter had been struck by a vehicle and emergency personnel applied a tourniquet, officials said.
Multiple units were requested to shut down the surrounding area.
The extent of injuries sustained are unavailable as of Wednesday night.
