A brush fire broke out in Agua Dulce Wednesday near Escondido Canyon Road, prompting a response from firefighters.
UPDATE (12:00 p.m.) Forward progress has been stopped on the Freeway Fire in Agua Dulce, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.
Original Story: The brush fire was first reported to firefighters Wednesday around 11:30 a.m. near the 14 Freeway and Escondido Canyon Road in Agua Dulce, said Marvin Lim, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

As of 11:40 a.m. the fire is currently at about a quarter-acre burning in medium fuels, according to Fire officials.

Frustrating that these brush fires keep happening. Every other day KHTS reports there being another one. I worry that one day we’re not gonna be so fortunate, especially when Santa Ana winds return. SMH.
