The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley will be hosting their annual Festival of Trees fundraising event to kick-off the holiday season.

The weekend festival will kick off Thursday, Nov. 16 with a “Jingle Jam Swing Dance” where attendees can view the trees. On Friday, the main event is a “Holiday Hocus Pocus” magic show. Singers, musicians, dancers and more will be featured on the stage throughout the Festival. Tickets to the event are $10 per person.
On Nov. 18, a premier Festival event will be hosted by event Co-Chairs G. Marshall and Kathleen Hann. The event will feature a reception, entertainment, a live auction of select trees and vignettes, hors d’oeuvres, dessert, and a no-host bar. Tickets to the premier event are $75 with various table and sponsorship opportunities available.
“We are very excited to be working on the 15th Festival of Trees!” said Festival founders Gary and Myrna Condie in a statement. “Not only can you view the many beautiful and elaborately decorated trees which are available for purchase, but you can also purchase small tabletop trees, holiday wreaths, and charming one-of-a-kind gingerbread houses.”
Large trees at the event range in height from six to nine feet and many come with gifts including furniture, event tickets, wine, jewelry and more.

The boutique features booths with handmade crafts, fashion jewelry and accessories, clothing, food, gifts, holiday decor and more.
Children will find a variety of fun crafts and activities in the Kid’s Corner and can take a photo with Santa Claus (additional activity ticket required).
Those who bring an unopened toy valued at $25 or more to the Festival will receive a ticket to Six Flags Magic Mountain as well. Toys will be distributed to children and teens of the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley this holiday season. Gifts for children aged seven years and older are preferred.
All proceeds from this event will directly support afterschool programming for local youth, event organizers said.

Founded in 1968, the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley provides 1,700 local youth, ages 7-17, with programs that provide a safe and supportive environment, support academic success, create healthy lifestyles, and develops character and leadership.
Membership is $60 a year for the first child and $45 for each additional sibling (scholarships available). The Club’s mission is to “enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.”
