Burglary Suspect Detained At Gunpoint In Canyon Country

One person suspected of burglary was detained at gunpoint on Sunday in Canyon Country. 

At around 3 p.m. Sunday, deputies detained a burglary suspect on Hidaway Avenue near Whites Canyon Road in Canyon Country, according to Lieutenant James Royal with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“We arrested someone at that location as a part of a burglary investigation,” said Royal. 

No injuries were reported as a part of the arrest.

  1. Even though Gascon will not prosecute, we appreciate that our Sheriff is still willing to do the hard work to detain these criminals. Do not give up despite the radical politicians being placed into positions to dictate prosecution decisions and instead favor the criminals. It will turn around and the citizens of SCV overwhelmingly want safe communities.
