Officials with Southern California Edison are working to restore power to thousands of residents Thursday evening in Canyon Country, according to officials.
UPDATE: As of 8:07 P.M. officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station report that Southern California Edison are set to restore power around 10:30 P.M., according to a tweet from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Estimated time of power restoration in Canyon Country is now up to possibly 10:30 p.m.

Power was projected to be restored by approximately 7:12 P.M., according to a tweet from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The outage was reported around Marilyn Drive and Carrousel Drive in Canyon Country just before 7 P.M. on Thursday.
As of 7:05 P.M., as many as 3227 customers were reported to have been affected by the outage, according to the Southern California Edison website.
As of 7:30 P.M. officials with Southern California Edison have not restored power to all of its customers, according to the company’s website.
