The Castaic Lake Water Agency received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the United States and Canada for its FY 2015-16 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

The award is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.

This is the 12th consecutive year the agency has won this award.

The GFOA is a nonprofit professional association serving approximately 19,000 government finance professionals with offices in Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C.
