A Castaic man was killed last week after jumping from a cliff at Aztec Falls in San Bernardino County, according to officials.

On Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 2:45 p.m., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department air medic ambulance responded to the section of Lake Arrowhead for a “man down”, according to coroner’s officials.
Gary Ray Roberson, 28, had jumped from a cliff and struck a rock below, according to a press release by the San Bernardino Coroner’s office. He was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

“The swimming hole offers two rock leaps, with one jump measuring 30 feet tall and the more difficult leap topping out at 60 feet,” according to USA Today.
