Castaic Education Foundation To Host Student, Teacher Benefit Fundraiser

The Castaic Education Foundation will host their annual Wine Tasting Event next month at Salt Creek Grille.

The event on Thursday, Feb. 1 at the Salt Creek Grille, directly benefits the teachers and students of the Castaic Union School District.

The Castaic Education Foundation exists to help teachers provide the most opportunity to their facility thorough innovative education to students enrolled in the Castaic Union School District.

They provide grants to teachers who have ideas that can impact the school district, but lack the financial resources to implement them.

The Foundation raises funds each year through the Sweethearts for Education Wine Tasting Event.

Tickets for the event are $35 per person and will include wine and hors-d’oeuvres, a small dish that is served before a meal.

The Castaic Union School District, in partnership with the community, provides children with a creative and collaborative learning environment supported by a safe and nurturing atmosphere that creates lifelong learners and empowers them to be critical thinkers in a global community.
