Deputies Investigating Canyon Country Burglary Near Jakes Way

Deputies are investigating a report of a Canyon Country burglary near Jakes Way on Wednesday, officials said.

At about 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, a burglary was reported on the 18000 block of Annes Circle in Canyon Country, according to Lt. Doug Morhoff with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“There were two suspects,” Morhoff said, adding deputies were still investigating the incident as of 10:50 a.m.

The suspects, described as Hispanic males that are about 20 years old, fled in a blue Honda Civic, according to officials on scene.

The vehicle drove off at a high rate of speed toward Sandy Drive, according to Sheriff’s officials.
