“I don’t think he had [the] command tonight, to be quite honest,” said Dodgers manager Dave Roberts in regards to Julio Urias. Urias came on in relief of a 1-1 game and prompty surrendered three runs to bust the game open.

Max Scherzer controlled the Dodgers lineup, allowing just four hits and one run in seven innings, as L.A. went down 6-1 in Game 4.
They’ll now need Walker Buehler to replicate his Game 1 performance. He goes up against an equally hot pitcher in the Nationals’ Stephen Strasburg.
Not that it really means anything, but this is the part where we point out things to give Dodgers fans confidence in a Game 5. The Dodgers scored three total runs in the even games of the series, games 2 & 4.
They scored a combined 16 runs in games 1 & 3. Baseball superstition says the Dodgers’ offense should break out in a similar fashion in Game 5.
One player who continues to show up in the month of October is the indubitable Justin Turner. Turner hit his second homer of the series yesterday and has driven in five runs. The Dodgers offense is on a different level when he’s hot, and the rest of the bats need to follow suit in the NLDS deciding game at Dodger Staidum.
