At around 2:55 p.m. Saturday, an aircraft crash was reported near Limekiln Canyon Road and Sesnon Boulevard just south of the Santa Clarita Valley, according to officials.

Witnesses on scene described the aircraft as a, “single-engine, propeller-driven, fixed-wing two-seat airplane.”

The vintage aircraft, a Chinese-made military trainer aircraft designed in 1958, crashed into a canyon under unknown circumstances, officials said. There was no fire associated with the crash.
