The city of Santa Clarita, along with The Energy Network, will host a free “Lunch & Learn” workshop regarding The Santa Clarita 100 Greener Homes Project on Friday, July 17, 2015.

Green Santa Clarita Launches New Website

Green Santa Clarita has recently launched a newly designed website featuring updated information on resources and programming for Santa Clarita residents and businesses. 

With the goal of promoting sustainability, the new web interface includes navigation tabs for green resources, as well as an event calendar to mark upcoming green events. The site also includes a map of Electric Vehicle charging stations in the area. 

Residents can learn about a variety of programming including green events, trash and recycling, water quality and conservation, electric vehicle charging, construction, and development in Santa Clarita. 

The Green Santa Clarita’s electronic monthly newsletter features topics like pesticide use, Recycle Hero and the Santa Clara River.  

Green Santa Clarita’s annual events include the upcoming River Rally, Earth Arbor Day, Bike to Work Challenge and Household Hazardous Waste Round-Ups.
