‘Holey Moley’ Extreme Mini-Golf Competition Filmed In Santa Clarita Set To Air On ABC

Hosted by Stephen Curry, “Holey Moley” is a 10-episode mini-golf competition series filmed in Santa Clarita that is set to showcase mini-golf lovers from around the country as they compete head-to-head through an elaborate obstacle golf course.

Set to air on Thursday, June 20, 12 contestants are scheduled to put their miniature golf—and physical—skills to the test and face off in “never-before-seen” challenges on a supersized miniature golf obstacle course.

The winner of the competition is set to earn “The Golden Putter” trophy, a “Holey Moley” plaid jacket and a $25,000 grand prize.

NBA player and executive producer Curry stars as the host of the show and resident golf pro, with comedian Rob Riggle as the color commentator, ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” veteran Joe Tessitore as the play-by-play commentator, and “The Real” co-host Jeannie Mai as sideline correspondent.

Filming of the series took place in April 2019 at Sable Ranch in Canyon Country, a movie ranch which was damaged by the Sand Fire back in 2016.

The larger-than-life mini-golf course features 10 supersized and themed holes, including:

  • Dutch Courage
  • Caddysmack
  • Arc de Trigolf
  • Tee’d Off
  • Sweet Spot
  • Surf on Turf
  • Slip-n-Putt
  • Log Roll
  • The Distractor
  • Mt. Holey Moley

The golf course and accompanying obstacles were built in conjunction with Eureka and designed by the Los Angeles-based company The ATS Team, which creates obstacle courses and other large-scale environments for “American Ninja Warrior,” “The Titan Games,” “Big Brother,” “The Amazing Race” and other shows.

Holy Moley premieres on Thursday, June 20 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
