Infant Airlifted In Canyon Country After Reports Of ‘Difficulty Breathing’

An infant was airlifted in Canyon Country Thursday evening after reports of a medical emergency, officials said.

Reports were received around 4:35 p.m. of an infant having difficulty breathing in Canyon Country near Soledad Canyon Road, according to Supervisor Flores, with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

It is said the difficulty breathing as a result of an unknown injury, according to Fire officials

Intersections between the incident and an empty lot west of Home Depot near Ruther Avenue are being closed to allow AMR ambulances easier navigation, according to Sheriff’s officials.

The condition of the infant is unknown as of Thursday evening.
