SCV Water is inviting the community to attend their free virtual gardening class in Santa Clarita set for this weekend: “Designing a Sustainable Landscape.”
On Saturday March 6th at 9am, residents can learn how to plan, design, and incorporate a sustainable landscape into your yard.
“Typically, sustainable landscapes preserve natural resources and are environmentally friendly. They are also water-wise and appropriate for the climate you live in,” said SCV Water Officials.

SCV Water hosts a virtual class each month on a Saturday morning starting at 9:00 a.m. Each Instructor still provides the same great content as in-person classes, but in a more condensed format. Each class focuses on the topic for approximately 45 minutes to one hour, followed by a question-and-answer session at the end.
“All presentations are recorded and available for viewing on our website one week after the live class. Participants will also be able to download the presentation.”
SCV Water’s free virtual gardening classes allow Santa Clarita residents to learn various gardening and landscaping skills from the comfort of their own home.
