Light Rain Expected To Affect Santa Clarita Early This Week

Light showers are in the forecast for portions of Southern California, including Santa Clarita early this week.

According to the National Weather Service of Los Angeles, rainy weather is expected to occur Sunday night and Monday morning in Southern California and Santa Clarita.

30% of the Santa Clarita Valley is expected to see light showers Sunday evening with clear skies expected at night followed by light showers around midnight, according to the National Weather Channel (NWC).

Cloudy skies are expected early Monday morning, followed by partial clearing, according to the NWC.

Winds may also reach a high of 10 miles per hour, according to weather officials.

The NWS Los Angeles advised drivers to be cautious of wet roadways due to expected “slick roadways likely due to accumulated oils on the road.”
