One Airlifted From Sierra Highway Following ATV Crash

One patient was airlifted from Sierra Highway near Rowher Flats Friday night.

Following a traffic collision involving an all-terrain vehicle, one patient was airlifted to a nearby trauma center, according to Supervisor Pittman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“We got the call about 7:50 on the 13000 block of West Sierra Hwy in the Rowher Flats area,” Pittman said. “It was a traffic collision with an all-terrain vehicle. The injuries were enough where they ordered a helicopter to transport the patient to a trauma center.”

The extent of the injuries were unclear to the Supervisor as of 8:20 p.m. No other injuries were reported.
