A Valencia crash sent one to the hospital Tuesday morning, after reports of a person trapped inside a vehicle, officials said.

The traffic collision was reported at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, with firefighters arriving on scene three minutes later, at the intersection of Valencia Boulevard and Goldcrest Drive, according to Inspector Brian Stevens, with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“When we arrived on scene, there was one person trapped,” Stevens said. “The patient was extricated and transported to a local hospital.”
The condition of the victim is unknown, according to fire officials.
There was one other person injured in the crash, but they were medically cleared on scene, Sevens said.
Traffic snarled in the surrounding area, with significant slowdown on both directions of Valencia Boulevard as of 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.
