The collision occurred 10:20 a.m. Tuesday morning near the intersection of Highway 126 and Interstate 5.

“When the signal turned green, a white car proceeded to enter the road. Looking to my left, I saw another white car bearing down at a high rate of speed on the ‘intersection’ that did not appear to be slowing down, and in fact, never even braked,” according to a witness.

“It hit full force the small white car,” noted the witness’ report. “Immediately, a few people exited their vehicles to render aid.”

Los Angeles County Fire officials confirmed that as a result one of the vehicle’s occupants was transported an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
