The blood drive is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Sycamore Rooms at The Centre, located at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway.
National statistics from the American Red Cross show that every two seconds, someone needs a unit of blood.
On donation day, participants can go directly to the Sycamore Rooms on the first floor of the Santa Clarita Sports Complex for evaluation and to ensure they are eligible to donate, according to the City.
For residents who are on a tight schedule, RapidPass is set to be available to allow donors to start the process before arriving at the donation site, saving approximately 15 minutes, according to officials.
All participants must have a valid ID to donate, according to the Red Cross.
Those who are interested in signing up for the blood drive can do so here, using the code “SportsComplexSC.”
