Registration is still available for those interested in taking courses during College of the Canyons’ spring semester beginning Feb. 7.
Students can choose from up to 1,900 classes, half of which are expected to be held in-person at the Valencia and Canyon Country COC campuses.
“The spring semester was created to provide our students with a variety of options amidst a rapidly changing COVID-19 landscape,” said Dr. Omar Torres, the chief instructional officer.
Class opportunities include those needed to graduate or meet prerequisites for transferring.
The semester also features some of the college’s newest classes including Law Enforcement Technology, Yoga History and Art, Anatomy for Commercial Artists and Fundamentals of Drawing for Commercial Artists.
Classes are offered in three formats: in-person, online and online live.
“Our courses continue to provide the flexibility our students need to continue working towards their academic goals without disruption,” said Torres.
