Search For Suspect In Attempted Kidnapping At Walmart In Santa Clarita

Deputies are searching for a suspect in Santa Clarita Friday after an attempted kidnapping at the Walmart in Valencia.

At around 8:50 p.m. Friday night deputies received reports of an attempted kidnapping at the Walmart on Kelly Johnson Parkway, according to Lieutenant Phillips with the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station.

“Suspect is still out and deputies are looking for him. Looks like a domestic case,” said Phillips.

The alleged suspect is a hispanic male and Canyon Country resident, and was seen fleeing the scene in a white truck. He is also thought to be armed with a pocket knife.
