In November, a jury found Nicholas Colletta, 21, guilty on all four of the charges against him, including: first degree murder with the allegation that the crime was committed for the benefit of a criminal street gang; possession of a firearm by a felon with three priors; unlawful possession of ammunition; and carrying a loaded firearm, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office.
The shooting occurred at Begonias Lane Park in Canyon Country shortly before 5 a.m. in July, when witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots.
When deputies arrived, they discovered Ivan Solis dead from multiple gunshot wounds near the park restrooms.

Colletta was later arrested and charged with premeditated murder. He is a previously convicted felon, with three priors in possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
Jaqueline Arreola, 24, who was at the crime scene when law enforcement arrived, was arrested as an accessory for Solis’ murder for allegedly having knowledge of the crime and deliberately concealing it.
Arreola pled guilty to the accessory charge, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
Both Arreola and Colletta are scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 25 for sentencing.
