SCV Water is currently repairing a leaking water main in Valencia, which is expected to be fixed by Tuesday evening, officials said.
Around 12 p.m. Tuesday, SCV Water received reports of a water main leak on Valencia Boulevard near Cinema Drive, said Kathie Martin, a spokesperson for the water agency.
“We have crews on site,” she said. “They are working to fix a two-inch service line.”
The leak is affecting approximately six businesses, she said.
The repair is expected to be finished in two to three hours. The cause of the leak is unknown, according to officials.
Traffic on Valencia Boulevard is backed up due to a lane being closed on that stretch of road.
