For the past 35 years, the Canyon Theatre Guild in Newhall has entertained the community with their annual Holiday show, and this year the theatre is set to produce the musical “White Christmas.”

Based on the movie that starred Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Rosemary Clooney, the Canyon Theatre Guild musical is produced by Executive Director TimBen Boydston and Co-Directo Michael Smith. 

The play revolves around World War II vets who become partners in a song-and-dance act after the war. Looking for love, they follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters to a gig at a Vermont lodge, which happens to be owned by their former army commander. 

The cast performs iconic numbers, including “Snow,” “Sisters,” “Blue Skies,” and the titular “White Christmas.” 

“It has become a holiday tradition for many families and friends to celebrate the season by attending the annual CTG Holiday show,” said Boydston.   

Performances run Nov. 25 to Dec. 22. Tickets are $19 for Jr/Sr and $23 for adults and are available for purchase here or by calling the Box Office at 661-799-2702.
