LASD: Here is the Crime Information and Public Safety Report for Saugus for December 4, 2017 to December 10, 2017:

12/07/17
Shoplifting – 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road
A female entered a grocery store and selected several over-the-counter medications and concealed them. She attempted to leave the location without paying for the concealed items. She was detained outside of the location and later arrested by deputies.

Petty Theft – 22100 block of Barrington Way
An unknown suspect stole a package from the victim’s porch during daytime hours.

Petty theft – 28700 block of Placerview Trail
An unknown suspect stole a package that was delivered from the victim’s porch.

It can take seconds for a thief to steal something from your car, so never leave valuables inside. Most vehicle crime is preventable. Don’t make your car a target for thieves by leaving sought-after items such as purses, wallets, laptop computers and cell phones in plain view.
