The Castaic Animal Care Center is celebrating the “pawlidays” by offering waived adoption, vaccination and microchip fees for furry friends adopted before the new year.
In an initiative put forth by the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control, all locations, including the Castaic Animal Care Center, are offering waived pet adoption fees during the holiday season.

“From now until the end of the year, all adoption fees will be waived for dogs in care for 10 days or longer and for all cats,” read a statement from the L.A. County Department of Animal Care and Control.
The waived fees include adoption, microchip, spay and neutering and vaccinations, according to adoption officials.
“Everything is done by appointment,” said Terra Dispirito, social media manager in a previous KHTS article. “Everyone is wearing masks and gloves.”
