Back in October, Peanut arrived at the Castaic Animal Care Center as a stray cat and is now available for adoption. 

Peanut is a black and white, 4-year-old, 10-pound female domestic shorthair cat who is available for adoption at the Castaic Animal Care Center and ready to find her “purr”fect home. 

“She arrived from a home that had too many pets,” said officials with the Castaic Animal Care Center. 

Peanut is currently housed in the cat room with other kitties who came from the same home and would most likely get along with other felines in an adopters home, added officials. 

Those interested in meeting Peanut (#A5513156) can come in during their walk-in hours of 2-5 p.m. daily and from 2-7 p.m. on Wednesdays or schedule an appointment on the animal center’s website
