The Castaic Animal Shelter’s longest resident Nala is ready to be adopted and find her forever home.
Back in January, Nala arrived at the Castaic Animal Care Center as a stray dog and is currently the shelter’s longest resident.
Nala is a two-year-old 50-pound black and white pitbull available for adoption and ready to find her forever home and family.
“She has begun leash training and obedience skill training,” said officials with the Castaic Animal Care Center.
The ideal adopters for Nala would be an active family who gives her plenty of exercise and continues training with her after she leaves the shelter.
“Durable toys and balls and a yard are preferred for Nala,” said officials with the Castaic Animals Care Center.
The staff at Castaic Animal Care Center requires an adult-only home for Nala due to the handling sensitivity upon arrival.
Those interested in meeting Nala (#A5528460) can come in during their walk-in hours of 2-5 p.m. daily and 2-7 p.m. on Wednesdays or schedule an appointment on the website.
