ABC’s “How to Get Away With Murder” is scheduled to film in Old Town Newhall this upcoming week, officials said Thursday.
The network drama is expected to begin preparations for the shoot Monday morning at 7 a.m. and conclude the filming by 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to the City of Santa Clarita Film Office.
Newhall Refinery specifically is set to play host to the cast and crew, according to a notice provided by the film office.
Interior and exterior dialogue are expected to be filmed, which will likely feature the use of exterior lights and the camera on the sidewalk or curblane, according to production officials.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officials are expected to be on present for traffic control on Main Street between Market Street and Sixth Street, and will possibly implement similar traffic controls on Market Street from Walnut Street to Railroad Avenue.
There is expected to be no parking on portions of Main Street, Market Street and Railroad Avenue during the production.

Show business people are slow to adapt. You could even say “stubborn”. “Film” is a clear plastic strip with photosensitive chemicals applied. It is delicate. It must be kept in total darkness until used. You can’t see what’s on it right away after you shoot it. 99% of all video is recorded on tape, hard drives, flash memory, etc. Digital freed video from “film”.
There are those who enjoy doing stuff “old faashioned”. They are quaint and wrong.
