Today and tomorrow, sophomore Robby Good’s composition is being featured in the L.A. Philharmonics performance of Gustav Holst’s “The Planets” at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

The performance is part of the “Symphony in the Schools” program.

Two years ago, when he was an eighth grader at Placerita Junior High, Good arranged a medley of the “Legend of Zelda” video game music for a 65-piece orchestra for his junior high peers to perform.

He credits Placerita music teacher Kathryn Spula for taking the time to listen to what he had arranged and giving him the orchestral platform to make it happen.
