Six Flags Magic Mountain Previews ‘Taste Of The Holiday In The Park’ Food Festival

Six Flags Magic Mountain held a preview event Saturday night to debut some of their seasonal culinary offerings available during their annual “Taste Of Holiday In The Park” Food Festival.

While Magic Mountain is already lit up with the lights of their annual Holiday In The Park event, more holiday cheer is on the way in the form of their Holiday In The Park Food Festival.

“It’s an incredible atmosphere as we celebrate the holidays at Six Flags Magic Mountain, the thrill capital of the world,” said Park President Neal Thurman. “The park looks amazing with millions of lights throughout the park and we add to it with the upcoming food festival which really brings some unique treats you can’t get anywhere else.”

The annual event brings a wide array of new and returning limited-time holiday-themed food selections to the park.

“There’s an entire team of people throughout the park that have been trying all kinds of things for months, which is great because they always come to me to taste-test stuff, which I love of course,” Thurman said. “But, getting to see the creative spirit that comes out in the team and what they can produce, it’s really phenomenal.”

This year’s food festival brings with it 25 completely new items to the park in addition to other returning items.

Some of this year’s new dishes include lobster bisque, jalapeño bacon mac and cheese, honey buttered ham biscuit sandwich and maple cranberry meatless meatballs, among many more.

The park offers tastings in packages of six or ten to allow visitors to sample a variety of dishes.

The tastings are available daily from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. beginning Saturday, Dec. 14 through Sunday, Dec. 29.

Tickets for the tastings are available at various locations around the park and are expected to become available for purchase online in the coming weeks, according to Six Flags officials.
